You read that right... in today's episode, I share the number one Jedi mind trick tactic I created when I first started to lose weight.
This one Jedi-mind trick :):) allowed me to start dropping my extra pounds without giving up my favorite sugar treats, nachos, bread and even pasta...
Disclaimer alert; I can not in good conscience tell you that sugar is good for you or that eating a boatload of it will allow you to get to your forever goal weight.
I also need to tell you that sugar and processed carbohydrates are a leading cause of obesity, type II diabetes and can potentially contribute to Alzheimer's, depression and more
BUT, for me anyway and this might be true for you also...
If you had told me when I started that I would have to remove sugar and carbs in order to reach my goals I may have never started.
Whether you are just getting started on your weight loss journey or trying to get up the courage to start again.
This episode will help!

I'm going to encourage you to love yourself as you are, no beating yourself up over the weight gain. :) we've all been through a lot of changes this last year. It is also good to be mindful and real with yourself about the extra weight and start to take action.

In this episode, I share one of our final segments for the Faith and Freedom Breakthrough Women's Wellness Virtual Event.
I hosted this powerful two-day virtual event over the weekend.
I am honored to have created it, connect with our powerful experts, and share it with the amazing women that attended. I love the process and the event so much that I have no doubt we will be creating more events that will continue to be even more amazing with each iteration.
God was definitely at work in me, through me, and through all the incredible women that participated.
Our experts shared a wide range of wellness topics including nutrition, managing menopause symptoms, financial health, mental health, the power of having a vision, and how to make goals a reality.
We also shared powerful testimonies and how we can look at our stories to help build unshakable faith and how to recognize fear and press through it!
As we were closing on day two I wanted the women to recognize a common theme among many of our experts - they each believe the power of our thoughts influence the experience and outcome we want in their respective area of expertise.
I could not agree more! In my coaching programs I including teaching on the power of our thoughts. Specifically recognizing those that disempower and creating thoughts that empower, because thoughts are the foundation of experience and success in any aspect of life.
I'm sharing the talk I gave on this topic with you today. When we can begin to recognize our thoughts we can create power and freedom within our choices.

This is a quick "pocket coaching" episode to finish out the year. it was originally recorded for my email subscribers.
However, I hit a flow state that I believe you are meant to hear as well! I talk about
1. The importance of keeping your commitments to others. If they can not trust you in the "small" things how will they trust you for the bigger things, when they really need you most?
2. The importance of keeping your commitment to yourself. Every time you tell yourself you are going to something, like stick to a workout schedule, and you flake on yourself you take your confidence down a notch. Even if you've justified by telling yourself someone else become more important during that time you take your self-belief down a notch... you take your ability to believe in yourself down a notch.
A BIG piece of creating goals that you DESERVE AND reaching them will be determined by your self-belief and emotional mastery.
Both of which are diminished when you do not keep your word. I also talk about the importance of choosing your focus. Yes, 2020 was incredibly hard for many.
For many the year included unimaginable loss. Yes there is a time to mourn, their is a time experience and feel the loss.
However, if you choose to sit in it for too long if you choose to focus on what you lost or what didn't happen versus what was good and what happened FOR YOU... then your 2021 will not be much better than 2020.
The common denominator in your experience of every year is YOU, and your focus.
Start 2021 from a position of personal power with a positive focus.... yep, alot of p's... it just worked out that way :)
